Problem:
This issue was reported to Lotus software Quality Engineering and was addressed
in Domino 6.0.4 and 6.5.2.

SPR# PFOI5WWL43 - Fixed a problem trying to read LZ1 compressed attachments
over the web, when the server was on a UNIX platform. The error 'Corrupted LZ1
Encoded Data' would be returned. This problem has been fixed in 6.0.4 and 6.5.2.
For versions prior to 6.0.4 and 6.5.2, the workaround is to disable LZ1
compression on the mail file.
This error occurs only on servers running on UNIX platforms and it is not
reproducible on Windows. More >
